The gallbladder flush experience

The gallbladder flush experience

It has been a few years since I started to suffer from gallbladder pain but in the last few weeks the pain has started getting worse and eating became a lot less enjoyable. My scans showed signs of inflammation and I decided it was time to do something about it before surgery become inevitable!

I was very curious about getting rid of gallstones in a natural way. Both my parents had their gallbladders removed so I was a bit dubious about the fact that doctors are ready to get rid of one of your organs so easily if there is a better way?

I decided to follow "The amazing liver and gallbladder flush" protocol by Andreas Moritz. I strongly recommend to get his book before you attempt the flush as it is full of information about how the gallbladder affects the rest of your health.

So here is the protocol I have followed:

6 days before the cleanse :

  • Drink 1 liter of organic apple juice per day or 240ml of sour cherry juice (available in health food store)

On the day of the cleanse (the sixth day):

  • Drink the liter of apple juice in the morning
  • Eat light/plain food in the morning (do not eat any proteins, nuts, avocado or anything high in fat)
  • Stop eating around 1.30 pm otherwise you may have difficulty passing stones
  • At 6.00 pm, prepare a mix of 4tbsp of Epsom salts with 710ml of filtered water. This mix makes four servings of 180ml. Drink the first one now.
  • At 8.00 pm, drink a second serving of Epsom salts
  • At 9.45 pm, mix 180ml of grapefruit juice with 120ml of olive oil into a glass jar. shake it well.
  • At 10.00 pm, stand next to your bed and gulp it down as fast as you possibly can and lie down on your back directly after. Your head should be higher than your abdomen. Do not move for 20 minutes and then try to fall asleep.
  • At 6.00 am, drink another serving of Epsom salts
  • At 8.00 am, drink the last serving.
  • At 10 am, start drinking fresh juice. You may start eating an hour later Be careful to what you eat in the next few days and be kind to your body!

Note: I did a coffee enema in the afternoon of the sixth day to cleanse my colon and facilitate the process as well as a water enema the day after to expel the toxins that were unleashed.

Now here is what I have experienced:

It all went well until I got up at 2 am with nausea and pain. I freak out a bit as I thought I might have done something wrong and that maybe it was all a scam. A hot water bottle on my stomach helped me go back to sleep. The morning after, I was surprised I still haven't had any bowel movement. I just thought it did not work so after drinking my Epsom salts, I just went to the beach and forgot about it. An hour later, I had a urge to go the bathroom and expelled around 20 stones in the following hours. (This is when I did an enema to help out) I did not eat before 4 pm as was really not hungry. I just had some oats with fruits as a snack and had a proper meal in the evening. The latter was a bit high in fat and it made me very uncomfortable so be careful what you eat after your flush. My gallbladder felt sore for 2 days but is now back to normal!

I am still amazed about how well it worked! I can't even believe that was inside me!
I am already planning to do it a second time as it is very unlikely you expel all of them the first time. The flush in itself just last 24 hours, it is unpleasant but definitely worth it!
